To the Editor:

Is there nothing considered “sacred” or “holy” anymore?
As I look out my office window each day, I watch people as they “walk” their dogs in the beautiful historic St. Peter’s Episcopal Church cemetery. Of course, their dogs must relieve themselves “somewhere.”
Unlike many of my neighbors, I have resigned myself to the fact that I have to clean up one to five piles of dog poop out of my yard every single day of the year. And that’s OK, but not in the church cemetery. Really, folks, have some decency and respect.
Some things are still considered to be “sacred” or “holy.” Honor “holy ground” and the people who are buried in it. Thanks for letting me sound off.
