Aleene Norman Comstock April 17,1928- August 25, 2013

Aleene Norman Comstock, 85, of Plymouth died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at her residence in Plymouth.

Born April 17, 1928 in Tyrrell County she was the son of the late Joe A. Norman and Minnie Walker Norman and was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Comstock, sisters, Evelyn Hufton and Catherine Hufton; brothers, Clyde Norman, Benny Norman, Stanley Norman and Vernon Norman.  Mrs. Comstock was a homemaker and member of Plymouth First Original Free Will Baptist Church.

Her family includes her daughter, Brenda C. Davenport of Hertford, N.C.; sisters, Elizabeth Norman of Barco, N.C. and Lena N. Comstock of Great Bridge, Va.; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Scuppernong Church of Christ, Creswell with Cleve Edwards officiating.  Family will receive friends at the church following the service.  Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.maitlandfuneralhome.com
