From First Bank

 

First Bank announced the promotion of Bridget Jefferson to Branch Manager, Bank Officer at their Washington branch, located at 132 West Second Street.

“We are delighted Bridget has accepted her new role as branch manager for First Bank’s Washington downtown business district branch. This, in conjunction with Lisa Roberts’ transition to a full-time dedicated residential mortgage lender/consultant positions First Bank with a wealth of banking and lending knowledge in the same location,” said First Bank Area Executive William Taylor. “Bridget’s high energy and strong work ethic, along with her excellent people skills, makes her an excellent individual to lead this branch.”

Jefferson brings more than 17 years of seasoned banking experience to her new position. In addition to her banking background, she has gained considerable knowledge of First Bank’s culture, having served in her previous position as Regional Operations Coordinator / training development since joining First Bank.

A Beaufort County native, she attended Northside High School and graduated from Beaufort County Community College with an Associates in Arts Degree.

Bridget and her husband, Kenny Wayne, currently reside in Belhaven with their two children, Kody and Caleb. The family attends the St. Clair’s Church of Christ in Bath.
