Joseph Barrow, Jr. (Joe Lloyd), 73, of 407 East Haven Apartments # 303,Washington died Sunday, September 23,2013 at home.

 

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at LR Randolph Memorial Chapel with Rev. Franklin R. Smith, officiating.

 

Barrow was born April 16, 1940 to the late Margaret Lloyd in Beaufort County.

 

He was a graduate in the class of 1958, P. S. Jones High School. In 1964, he married Sarah E. Smith and resided in Brooklyn, NY for 15 years.

 

His Careers included: Policeman with New York Department of Social Services, Beaufort County Sheriff Department. In his music career, Barrow played for

 

Mt. Hebron Choir, Easthaven Ministrail Group, churches in Edenton, and Outreach Christ Ministry. He enjoyed singing, and playing, making recordings which are played on Radio Station 1320 AM and the Divine Connection 104.5. He was also talented in Art.

 

Survivors: His children, Deborah Lott, Toledo, Ohio, Joseph Barrow III, Michael D. Barrow and Gerald L. Barrow all of Abilene, Texas, and 19 grandchildren.
