Donald Rufus Boyd

Mr. Donald Rufus Boyd, age 71, a resident of Mill Road, Chocowinity died Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

He is survived by two sons: Danny Boyd (Misty) and their son, Hayden of Pensacola, FL and Stephen Boyd (Nancy) and their daughter, Valerie of Orlando, FL; his mother:  Pearl Respess Boyd of Washington and his sisters:  Janice Tyson (Russell), Glenda Woolard, Lois Boyd (Bill) all of Washington and Judy Cassano (Tom) of Dallas, GA.

He is preceded in death by his father William Warren Boyd.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Private services were held.
