Washington police are seeking Terry Lee Strickland, 44, of Brandon Lane, Rocky Mount, after police witnessed Strickland and another man driving with utility trailer stolen from a local business, according to a press release from the Washington Police Department.

On Oct. 24, 2013, officers witnessed Strickland and Demetrius Lamont Peoples leaving a business around 10:45 p.m. with utility trailers, said the release. A search of the area was conducted without locating Strickland. Washington Police arrested Peoples, 30, of Forest Hill Avenue, Rocky Mount, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Peoples was charged with felony larceny of property, aid and abet felony larceny and served two outstanding orders for arrest from Nash County.
