This past May, Rayvon Basnight, along with two of his Wildcat football teammates, was given the opportunity to participate in the Blue-Grey Carolina Football Combine at Proehlific Park in Greensboro, NC.  While there, Rayvon participated as a quarterback and his performance enabled him to be selected to compete at the Blue-Grey National Super Combine at the New England Patriots Field House Training Complex in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

Only 170 elite prospects from previous combines from 26 states were invited to the Blue-Grey National Super Combine.  This combine also served as a pool to select a North and South squad to compete in the Fox Sports televised 3rd annual Blue-Grey National All American Game played at Raymond James Stadium (the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) on January 11, 2014.

Rayvon has been selected to attend the National Blue-Grey All American Weekend held on Jan. 11th and 12th at the Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  While attending this invitation only event, Rayvon will be given the opportunity to be further evaluated for possible selection to the January 2015 All American North South Bowl at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stadium or the East West Bowl at the AT&T Stadium, which is home of the Dallas Cowboys.

During the National Blue-Grey All American Weekend, Rayvon, along with the other 250 invited athletes, will be honored at the Blue-Grey All American Bowl at half time on Fox Sports.  They will also participate in a skills and drills clinic on Sunday morning with former NFL staff members.
