From the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office

On Oct. 18, 2013, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of larceny of an air conditioner unit at a residence on Mary Street in Chocowinity. Deputies responded and obtained information from witnesses in the neighborhood.

As a result of the investigation, Investigator Jeremy Landeck applied for and obtained a warrant charging Larry Douglas Thompson, age 35, of Quail Lane in Chocowinity with felony larceny. Thompson turned himself in on Nov. 9 at the Magistrates’ Office. He was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $1,300 secured bond set by Magistrate Jasper Mills.
