From the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit

On Nov. 5, 2013, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dallas Lynn Daniels, age 53, of 675 N.C. Highway 171 North in Washington. The Sheriff’s Office received a Crime Stoppers complaint siting Daniels’ involvement in the distribution of controlled substances. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Daniels’ vehicle in the city limits of Washington. K-9 Elza was deployed and alerted on the vehicle for the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 55 grams of marijuana packaged for resale.

Daniels was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Daniels was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
