The Greenville Titans ended the regular season in a three-way tie for second place in the 12U division of the Community Youth Football League, but on Saturday they finished in the No. 1 spot as they downed the Chocowinity Indians 22-0 to win the Super Bowl at Washington High School.

Titans quarterback Creighton Lebo ran for two touchdowns, while Will Cox scored one to give Greenville a 7-2 record for the year.
“I’m so proud of these kids,” Greenville coach Tim Manning said. “They’ve been working hard since July 25th and I couldn’t be happier for them.”
The Indians (6-3) had a stellar season, as they became the first 12U Chocowinity team to finish with a winning record and reach the Super Bowl.
“I’m real proud of these kids, these kids have given me everything,” Indians coach Jonathan Kassnove said. “They’ve done everything we’ve asked of them all year long.”
The Titans got off to a hot start as Lebo ran for a 10-yard touchdown and scored the following two-point conversion.
The Titans built their lead up to 16-0 when Lebo darted through the Indians defense for a 38-yard score and scored the two-pointer with 11 seconds left in the first half.
The Indians pieced together a strong drive in the third, marching all the way down to the Titans 3-yard line, but were denied by the Greenville defense.
“The ball might have bounced a little different if we were able to get in there at the end of the third quarter,” Kassnove said. “It might have been a whole different ball game because now we’re looking at 16-8 or 16-6.
“Sometimes it’s just not meant to be. The Titans have a good team and Tim Manning is a great coach.”
The Titans would add one more score in the fourth quarter as Will Cox dashed across the goal line from three yards out to cement the team’s 22-0 victory.
