She primarily plays classical pieces from the 19th and early 20th centuries. She has performed at Music Across the Sounds and at benefit concerts for the Relay for Life and Hyde County Hotline.

Coleman has studied violin for several years in Greenville studios where he has enjoyed learning classical violin and fiddling. He is a member of the Eastern Junior Youth Orchestra and has performed with Molasses Creek at the annual Music Across the Sounds concerts and with his sister at local benefit concerts.

Anne Blythe’s piano solo, Chopin’s Revolutionary, will open the concert. Later in the program, Coleman and Emma will play violin duets to include The First Noel, arranged by Wendy Bissinger, and a fiddling version of Dvorak’s Humoresque, arranged by Derek and Lisa Deakins.

Concert pianist David Roach is from Rutherfordton, NC and for the past several years he has come to Hyde County to perform his renditions of vintage holiday music, along with several of his original works. This year’s venue will include a Hyde County twist to the Twelve Days of Christmas! He performs many styles of music including classical and Southern Gospel and his works were composed in honor of God’s direction in his life and the gift of music given to him by God.
