Mrs. Annie Phillips Latham Tetterton, age 83, a resident of 113 East 14th Street, Washington, NC died Monday December 9, 2013 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice of Greenville.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday December 11, 2013 at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Tony Krantz.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Tetterton was born in Portsmouth, VA on May 14, 1930 daughter of the late Andrew Phillips and the late Miranda Miller Phillips. She married Johnny S. Latham who preceded her in death on December 14, 1977. On February 24, 1988 she married Julius S. Tetterton, Sr. who preceded her in death in September of 1999. Mrs. Tetterton was a homemaker who had worked at Washington Garment Company for eighteen years. She was a past member of Hunters Bridge Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters: Kaye Woolard of Washington and Alice Sauls and husband David of Daytona Beach, Florida, three sons: Wayne Latham and wife Christine of Washington, Jerry Stevenson and wife Robin of Elizabeth City and Richard Stevenson and wife Daphnne of Elizabeth City, one sister: Thelma Baker of Elizabeth City, twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Mrs. Tetterton was predeceased by a son: Gene Latham, a son-in-law: Wayne Woolard, a grandson: Brad Stevenson and a brother: Johnnie Phillips.
