Mr. Christopher “Columbus” Harris, 88, a resident of River Trace nursing/rehabilitation center, Washington, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Mt. Pilgrim Church with Bishop Charles Butler officiating. Burial follows in the Brooks family cemetery. The body will be placed in the church an hour before the funeral. The family is receiving friends at 809 Aycock St., Washington. Arrangements are by Bonner Street Funeral Home, Washington.
