BY THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER: A memorial service, in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was held at Mount Hebron Disciple Church Sunday night. Many local dignitaries, along with a crowd of Washington residents, sang, prayed and listened to the words of the assassinated civil rights leader’s “I Have a Dream” speech as read by Elder Silas Norman Jr. This young participant represents part of King’s dream that, one day, children of this nation “will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
