Nancy C Stotesbury, 78, of Jamesville, died peacefully at home surrounded her family on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014. Nancy was born on Sept. 22, 1935, to the late James Tony and Carrie Lee Cooper. On May 9, 1959 she married Horace H Stotesbury Sr. who preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2000. Nancy was a member of the Poplar Chapel Church of Christ. Survivors include daughter Julie Ann Stotesbury of the home, son Horace H Stotesbury Jr. and wife Sheila of Jamesville, granddaughter Megan S. Braddock and husband Ryan of Plymouth, sisters Carolyn C. Bennett of Jamesville, Gail C. Joyner of Kelford who preceded her in death, brother Tony Dale Cooper and wife Caffie of Jamesville, and also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Poplar Chapel Church of Christ with Ernie Williams, Elbert Lilley and David Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Jamesville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Poplar Chapel Church of Christ and other times at the residence 1756 Jerden Thicket Road.
