William Patrick Wall

Jan. 21, 2014

William Patrick Wall, 25, started his journey with Christ on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 6 pm in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Patrick, a native of Pitt County, was a 2006 graduate of D.H. Conley High School and received his Associates Degree in Building Construction Technology from Pitt Community College in 2009. While at PCC, he was selected to serve as a representative on the Extreme Home Makeover project in Jamesville. He was employed as General Manager with Bill’s Hot Dogs in Washington and loved meeting each person that came through the doors. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and participated with his many friends in the Goin Deep and T.R.U.S.T. ATV Clubs. An avid outdoorsman, Patrick loved fishing, hunting, jet skiing and four wheeling. Patrick never knew a stranger and will be dearly missed. He was a loving son and wonderful brother, and a true friend to those around him. His smile was just as contagious as his laugh and his family and friends were his passion. Patrick loved life to the fullest.

Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy Lee and Evelyn Elks; great-grandmothers, Evelyn Irene Wall and Mary Louise Brown; Golden Retrievers, Lacy and Honey; and feline, Taz.

He is survived by his: mother, Teresa Elks Wall, of Greenville; father, Kelly Wall, of Clayroot; brothers, Jay Boyd and fiancé, Ashley Shackelford, of Greenville and Brandon Wall and fiancé, Tachea Beach, of Hampton, Va.; grandparents, William and Helen Wall, of Clayroot; nephews, Braiden and Logan Beach, and Will Hoffman; uncle, Roy Wayne Elks, of Henderson, and fiancé, Martha Thompson, of Belmont; aunts, Eleanor W. Spain and husband, Randy, of Black-Jack and Dana Wall, of Clayroot; cousins, Lauren S. White and husband, Jonathan, of Black-Jack; and loving pets, Sailor and Holly.
