Mrs. Rosa Lee Pullen

Mrs. Rosa Lee Mitchell Pullen, age 72, a resident of 1201 Trade St., Washington, died Wednesday morning, June 15, 2011, at Roanoke River Nursing and Rehab in Williamston, N.C.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday June 17, 2011, at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington officiated by Pastor Stephen Evans. Keith Rakowski Jr., Trey Knox, Carl Paramore, Kenny Mace and Joe Dunn will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Pullen was born in Beaufort County on July 20, 1938, daughter of the late Burton Allen Mitchell and Ada Alice Dunn Mitchell. On April 25, 1987, she married Joseph Anthony Pullen who survives. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, Joe of the home, she is survived by her sons: Allen Snyder of Waldorf, Md., and Richard Snyder Jr. of New Bern; two sisters: Mary Ann Mitchell of Tyler, Texas, and Ruby Colville and husband John of Washington; five grandchildren and one step-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters: Olive Mitchell and Lola Harrell.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of her sister Ruby Colville located at 1013 E. 6th St., Washington, N.C.
