Wanda Kay Allen

Wanda Kay Allen of Cocoa Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, January 25th at Magnolia House Assisted Living Facility in Cocoa Beach.
Born on March 10, 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Edith (Wollard) Brinn and grew up in Virginia Beach and Bath, North Carolina. After graduating Bath High School, she married and lived in Western Massachusetts where she raised a son and two daughters. Years later, Wanda moved back to North Carolina where she remarried and raised two daughters. She retired to Cocoa Beach in 2003.
Wanda loved the water and was an avid gardener who loved collecting wildflowers and plants of all kinds. She had many creative interests including sewing and crocheting.
Wanda was survived by her children, Kenneth L. Ketchum, Jr. of Newburyport, MA; Tracey B. Harrison of Cocoa Beach, FL; Sherri L. Whitley of Merritt Island, FL, Julie Allen Cuccia of Savannah, GA and Brandy O. Allen of Beaufort, NC. She had nine grandchildren: Cassidy, Jade, Caitlin, Kyle, Jacob, Sarah, Logan, Aleigha and Luke; and two great-grandchildren: William and Desirae. She was also survived by her brothers, Sherial and Gary Brinn. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, brother CF Wallace and sister Emily Boyd.
Private family services will be held.
