Mrs. Frances Dineen Costin, 65, of Roper, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, with Glenn Brickhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church’s cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. the day of the funeral at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, which is in charge of arrangements.
