East Carolina Wildlife Arts Festival

 

FRIDAY EVENTS

 

• Preview and oyster roast, 6 p.m., Washington Civic Center. Open to sponsors, but others may attend by purchasing tickets, which are $40 each. Tickets include admission to the festival. Call 252-948-9415, ext. 2 or ext. 3 for more information or to obtain tickets.

 

SATURDAY EVENTS

 

• Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Washington Civic Center and Peterson Building (carving competitions). Admission is $10 for a one-day pass, $15 for a two-day pass.

• Auction and seafood banquet at Washington Yacht & Country Club, 7 p.m. Dinner reservations required, so call 1-800-999-3857, ext. 3. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. Live auction begins at 7 p.m.  Auction is open to the public. $35 per person.

• Children’s decoy-painting workshop, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., North Carolina Estuarium. Workshops for children ages 4 to 12. Reservations required. For more information or to make reservations, call 252-948-0000.

• Beaufort County Traditional Music Association jam, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., caboose area at Civic Center. • Sportsmen’s tent is at Festival Park, 119 E. Water St.

• Free shuttles available to move festival-goers to and from venues.

• Other various events at different times, locations during the day.

 

SUNDAY EVENTS

• Festival runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Washington Civic Center and Peterson Building (carving competitions). Admission is $10. • Waterfowl-calling competitions at Turnage Theater, 10 a.m., 150 W. Main St.

• Sportsmen’s tent is at Festival Park, 119 E. Water St.

• Free shuttles available to move festival-goers to and from venues.

• Other various events at different times, locations during the day.
