Controlled purchases of marijuana led to the arrest of one Washington man this week, according to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit.

On Feb. 26, investigators with the drug unit arrested Bobby Ray Harris Jr., 29, of 347 Cherry Run Road. Harris was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Harris was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under an $11,000 secured bond.
