Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Hi, my name is Oren and I’m puttin’ on my top hat, tyin’ up my white tie, brushin’ off my tail, ‘cause, as you can see, I’m a handsome “Tuxedo” cat. I’m ready to party with Ginger or Rita or anyone who will give me a good, forever home. I’m a neat guy with a silky, medium length, black and white coat. I love to be petted and fussed over, and I adore having someone talk lovey–dovey to me. But if you want a buddy to watch the game with, I am your man … at least I will be, right now I’m a six-month-old, juvenile cat.

Sally

 

When the camera met Sally, it was love at first sight. This beautiful, one-year-old, female, American Foxhound–mix could very well be a movie star. Long limbs, trim figure, pretty face with an intelligent expression, engaging pale baby blue eyes, a graceful noble carriage, sparkling white and caramel brown, short hair coat — definite star quality. Sally’s a little on the shy side until you sweet-talk her a tiny bit and then you see her personality surface. It’s friendly, playful, loving, alert, sweet, gentle and mild tempered. Sally is very much in need of a good forever home and she is available through Saturday at the shelter.
