SCHOOL NEWS MAKE-UP DAY B WEB

BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS | CONTRIBUTED SATURDAY SCHOOL: On March 22, Beaufort County School students and staff made up a day of school because of school days lost because of wintry weather. Students and staff at John Cotten Tayloe Elementary School made good use of their time and worked on a range of skills. Many students reviewed skills with laptop computers while others used an assortment of manipulatives and technology to solve problems. Second-graders Keyly Espinoza Garcia, Mauricio Mendoza-Hernandez, Triniti Burke, Jaheim Gray and Zahiem O’Pharrow in Kim Copeland’s class work with manipulatives. Second-grader Monzerat Chaves in Elizabeth Bennett’s class works a math problem on a Smartboard.
