2/15/13 9:00pm Stevie A. Spencer 59, of Columbia recieved a citation for simple possession of marijuania and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Whitener issued the citation.
12/15/13 11:45pm Eva K. Miller 29, of Columbia was arrested for failure to appear. Deputy Whitener was arresting officer.
12/16/13 10:00am Larceny of firearms was reported on N.C. 94 North. Sheriff Liverman investigated.
12/16/13 3:25pm A vehicle accident was reported on Main St. Deputy Barnes responded.
12/17/13 2:15pm Brandon D. Hassell 26, of Columbia was arrested for probation violation. Deputy Barnes was arresting officer.
12/17/13 3:45pm Brandon D. Hassell 26, of Columbia was arrested for defrauding a drug test. Deputy Barnes was arresting officer.
12/17/13 5:29pm Child abuse was reported Sgt. McPeak investigated. The case was turned over to the Department of Social Services.
12/18/13 1:50pm Tomas Leary 18, of Columbia recieved a criminal summons for damage to personal property. Chief Deputy Simmons served the summons.
12/18/13 5:17pm An assault was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Chief Deputy Simmons responded. As a result of the investigation Brandon D. Hassell 26, of Columbia was arrested for assault on a female and resist delay and obstruct an officer. Hassell was placed in Washington County Detention Center. Chief Deputy Simmons and Deputy Whitener were arresting officers.
12/18/13 8:08pm An alarm was reported on Newlands Rd. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
12/19/13 4:46am A disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Allen responded.
12/19/13 12:03pm A vehicle accident was reported on Scuppernong Dr. The Highway Patrol investigated.
12/20/13 2:56am A suspicious person was reported at Main St and Road St. Deputies Pinkham and Whitener responded.
12/20/13 6:07am A prowler was reported on Road St. Sheriff Liverman responded.
12/20/13 5:41pm Illegal burning was reported on Levels Rd. Tyrrell Fire, Tyrrell Fire Marshal and Washington Tyrrell EMS responded.
12/20/13 6:32pm Tommy Spencer 44, of Columbia was arrested for failure to pay child support. Spencer was placed in Washington County Detention Center. Deputy Coltrain was arresting officer.
12/21/13 3:19PM Credit card fraud was reported on Light St. Sgt. McPeak investigated.
12/21/13 8:50pm Nansia N. Patterson 30, of Columbia was arrested for assault and battery, and communicating threats. Sgt. McPeak was arresting officer.
12/21/13 8:55pm Nanisa N. Patterson 30, of Columbia recieved a criminal summons for communicating threats. Sgt. McPeak served the summons.
12/21/13 9:13pm A disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Allen responded.
12/22/13 12:08am Deputies and Washington Tyrrell EMS responded to a call on Elm St. regarding an assault. As a result of the investigation Deangelo MCCleeny 31, of Columbia and George A. Lee 52, of Columbia were charged with assault. Sgt. MePeak and Deputies Allen and Coltrain responded.
12/22/13 12:22am A disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Barnes responded.
12/23/13 12:08 pm A careless and reckless driver was reported on N.S. 94 South. The Highway Patrol responded.
12/23/13 12 :16pm Kenneth  J. Spruill 46, of Creswell was arrested for failure to pay child support. Spruill paid monies owed. Deputy Shivley was arresting officer.
12/23/13 8:39am A fire was reported on Elementary School Rd. Tyrrell Fire and Washington Tyrrell EMS responded.
12/23/13 5:20pm A disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Shivley responded.
12/24/13 5:56pm A disabled motorist was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Pinkham responded.
12/25/13 12:08am A domestic was reported on Soundside Rd. Deputies Shivley and Pinkham responded.

12/31/13 Deborah N. Thorpe 32, of Columbia was arrested for failure to pay child support. Thorpe was placed in the Washington County Detention Center. Sheriff Liverman was arresting officer.
