Child Abuse Awareness Month has always been an important month for those at Washington Pediatrics because employees are in a unique position to reach families through education and intervention. Prevention and awareness is a coordinated local effort, one about which Washington Pediatrics representatives say they are fortunate to have great working relationships with Beaufort/Hyde Partnership for Children, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and Beaufort County Social Services, along with the many other organizations that support area children and families.
