David Earl “Squirrel” Smith, age 45, a resident of 375 CC Road, Vanceboro, NC died Sunday May 11, 2014 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday May 16, 2014 at Edwards Cemetery of Chocowinity.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Thursday May 15, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of Phillip and Joyce Wiggins located at 4559 Old Blounts Creek Road, Chocowinity and also at the home of Frances Locklear located at 1105 Kite Town Road, Vanceboro.
