Mr. David Graham “Gee” Jordan Sr., 61, of 604 Kinston St., Washington, and formerly of Elizabeth City, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at home.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Everett’s Church of Christ with Dennis Davis officiating.
Mr. Jordan was born in Perquimans County, the son of the late David Harold Jordan Sr. and Lucy Marie Boyd Jordan. He was married to Betty Ruth Powers Jordan, who survives. He was a retired pipe fitter. He attended Everett’s Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, David G. Jordan Jr. and Benjamin “B.J.” Lee Jordan, both of Washington; four sisters, Sonia Smith of Hertford, Ann Green of Elizabeth City, Sherry Hughes of Mansfield, Ohio, and Sue Neprud of Pasadena, Md.; one brother, Howard “Pee Wee” Jordan of Darden; one half brother, Donald Jordan of Springfield, Ill; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Harold Jordan Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday at Everett’s Church of Christ following the memorial service.
