Eula Davenport Scott Andrews, died June 2, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Andrew was born on January 27, 1928 to the late Joseph Samuel and Allie Rawls Davenport.
Eula was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 40 years where she served as a choir member and Sunday school teacher. She loved to cook and garden, but her biggest passion in life was her family. She was always the happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Mr. Lander D. Scott, Jr., brothers, Elmer Davenport and Mack Davenport. Sisters Esther D. Marriner, and Louise D. Knox. Grandchildren, Derrick Scott, Anita Dawn Morris and Jamie Scott, great grandchild Colin Scott.
Funeral services will be held June 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Bowen officiating, burial in Bethel Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Mr. Roy Andrews of Bethel, NC. Her six sons; Wayne Scott, Randy Scott and wife Dianne, Jeff Scott and wife Charlene, all of Tarboro, NC. Phillip Scott and wife Lisa of Suffolk, Va. Joe Scott and wife Helen; Glenn Scott and fiancée Ophelia of Robersonville, NC. Her four daughters; Sandra Scott, Donna S. Griffin and husband Eddie, Tammie S. Williams and husband Neal of Robersonville, NC. Angelia S. Lewis and husband Ronnie of Chocowinity, NC. Six step-children are Sammy Andrews, Vicky A. Wiggins and husband Tommy of Hampton, Va., Dean Andrews and wife Krystol of Washington, NC. Timmy Andrews and wife Renaye of Rayford, NC, Glen Andrews and wife Lynn of Arizona. Margie A. Daw of Manns Harbor, NC. two brothers, James Davenport of Greenville, NC and William Davenport of Tarboro, NC, sister, Gladys D. Scott of Tarboro, NC Twenty one grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren and thirteen step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church.
