Mrs. Bessie Virginia Boston Hawks, 92, resident of 602 Mallard Creek Apartments in Aurora died Sunday, June 8, 2014. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Macedonia Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Whitfield & Whitley Chapel, other times at the home of Henry and Evangelist Wilhelmaine Hawks 653 Elm Street in Belhaven.
