Mrs. Ella Catherine “Cathy” Mizelle, 52, of 411 School Road, Windsor, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Pritchard Road Baptist Church with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Beverhill Cemetery in Edenton.
Mrs. Mizelle was born in Edenton on March 15, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Pearl Todd Bateman and Alfred Perry Bateman. She was married to Jeffery Mizelle, who survives.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffery Mizelle Jr., Alfred Mizelle and Richard Mizelle, all of Windsor; one brother, Richard Bateman of Edenton; one sister, Sharon Haddock of Swansboro; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosie Lassiter and Ruby Bateman and two brothers, Jimmy Bateman and Alfred Bateman Jr.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
