CONTESTANTS: The annual Little Miss Independence Pageant for girls 4 to 6 years old will be held Friday, July 4 at 9 a.m. at the John A. Wilkinson Center in Belhaven. The contestants will compete in their Sunday best and in patriotic attire. They will display a talent during the pageant in which most contestants sing or dance.
