END OF AN ERA: The Beaufort County Community College Board of Trustees recently recognized the Rev. Robert Cayton who is leaving the board after more than 20 years of service. Cayton, a former board chairman, most recently served as chairman of the board’s Finance Committee. Board Chairman Russell Smith praised Cayton’s knowledge of finances and parliamentary procedure and noted that Cayton had been a mentor for him in his board service.
