Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Ginger

Meet Ginger, our mini American Foxhound, Beagle–mix. There’s no doubt about it, this almost one-year-old girl has Ginger Roger eyes! At twenty-five pounds, her waist is trim, her shorthair, tricolor coat of white, black and tan displays striking patterns, and we think you will agree with us, that she’s pretty enough to be a movie star. She is also sweet, loving, friendly, calm and very patient. Ginger gets along well with other pets and she’s great with people. She will be perfect with an active family who loves to be outside and will take her along and will play with her, continually.  The ideal forever home will have a nice yard for her to get the exercise she will need, with a family that will enjoy her companionship inside and outdoors as well.

Tasha

Our Tasha, a Tuxedo cat, is almost one year old and she is dressed to entertain you. With her A-plus personality, she will provide you with endless hours of companionship, love and fun as she shows her playful side. Our girl is impeccably clean with her pristine white and ebony black shorthair coat, with artistic patterns.  Her enormous golden colored eyes light up her beautiful face. Tasha is a cuddle queen who loves people and interacts well with them. She will do well in a forever home setting with one person, a couple or a family. She will settle in and demonstrate what a great decision you made by adding a fabulous Tuxedo to complete your home setting. Tasha is available through Saturday at the shelter.
