Lana
Meet Lana, our one year old, Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound-mix. This sweet girl is a trim, 38 pounds and her nature is calm and very affectionate. Her shorthair, jet-black coat has a river of white flowing down her chest, and her brown eyes are heart-melters. Her big, beautiful ears stand up to show you how smart, friendly and playful she is. Found as a stray on Core Point Road in Blounts Creek, Lana will be a great pet in any loving forever home. Lana is available through Saturday at the shelter.
Hank
Say hi to Hank, our strikingly handsome male cat. He’s about four years old and this dreamboat is a lover! His fabulous coat is a soft pearl gray, accented with white around his mouth area and a spray of white under his chin, forming a bib. You will be enchanted by Hank’s huge, pale green eyes and his rosebud nose. This gentle, affectionate boy loves to be held, cuddled and stroked, and he will fit into any good, forever family unit. Hank is available through Saturday at the shelter.
Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.
