TYLER R. BERRY

March 30, 1994 – Oct. 3, 2014

 

Tyler Ryan Berry, age 20, a resident of Virginia Beach, VA and a former resident of Chocowinity, NC died Friday October 3, 2014 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday October 8, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by David Linton.  Burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery of Chocowinity.  Josh Strickland, Hunter Allen, Joseph Jenkins, Robert Cox, Gary Davis and Ronald Gurganus will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday October 7, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of his mother, Misty Thomas located at 92 Adams Street, Chocowinity, NC.

Tyler was born in Pitt County on March 30, 1994 son of Misty Lynn Berry and Wade Gerald Caraway, Jr. He attended Southside High School before moving to Virginia.  Tyler was a very popular Hip Hop artist and Graphic Designer.

Tyler is survived by his mother: Misty Berry Thomas and her fiancé Tommy Lewis of Chocowinity; his father: Wade Gerald Caraway, Jr. of Tarboro; three brothers: Dylan Jenkins of Chocowinity, Zackary Jenkins of Pinetown and Nicholas Lewis of Chocowinity; three sisters:  Stephanie Berry of Virginia Beach, VA, Emily Jackson of Chocowinity and Destiny Lewis of Chocowinity; his maternal grandparents: Carroll and Vickie Berry of Washington; an aunt: Christina Baker and her husband Peter of Chocowinity and an uncle: Billy Barringer of Chocowinity.

Flowers are welcome and appreciated and the family kindly asks for any memorial contributions to be made to the charity of one’s choice.
