TO THE HUNGRY: Students at Eastern Elementary held a food drive and a total of 1,412 cans were collected. Ms. Jacobson’s students collected 129 cans to be donated. “The students were eager to give to those who are less fortunate,” said Ms. Jacobson. Mrs. Picone, our school guidance counselor stated, “The food will be donated to the Salvation Army, to be distributed locally.”
