‘Nique returns to Washington

ASHLEY VANSANT | DAILY NEWS PAM PACK LEGEND: Naismith Hall of Famer and former Washington High School graduate Dominique Wilkins returned to his hometown for the first time in 35 years. Wilkins, along with the Pam Pack football team, was honored at the Washington Civic Center yesterday. After the celebration, the nine-time NBA All-Star stuck around to sign autographs and meet with fans, including Washington Police and Fire Services Chief Stacy Drakeford, pictured here with Wilkins. Later that evening, Wilkins was honored again during halftime of the Pam Pack boys’ basketball game versus Greene Central, as his former high school retired his number. The ordeal was captured by ESPN Films and will later be turned into a documentary.
