MISSY PARKER | CONTRIBUTED W FOR WASHINGTON: A few Washington Pam Pack fans ran into Gov. Pat McCrory on Dec. 13, just after the Pam Pack was defeated by the East Lincoln Mustangs in the Class 2-AA state championship football game in Winston-Salem. This group was staying at the Embassy Suites and was on their way out to dinner when the North Carolina’s governor walked by. According to one Washingtonian, the governor was “real cool” about taking a picture and joined in making the “W” sign, synonymous with the Washington Pam Pack. Look closely, third row toward the right, and District Attorney Seth Edwards can also be seen making the two-handed symbol for Little Washington.
