It’s before dawn on a cold and rainy day. You hear a sudden boom, the lights flicker, another boom and the lights are out. A phone call to Washington Utilities 24 number reaches a nice lady who thanks you for reporting the problem and offers assurance that help is on the way.
Shortly afterwards trucks and men are rolling to find the problem and restore your electricity.
Merry Christmas, tip of the hat, high-five and a big thank you to these folks who are willing to quickly respond, in all types of weather, to bring us electricity.
