On Dec. 30, 2014, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion at a residence on Marys Chapel Church Road, Aurora, by an unknown male armed with a firearm. No one was injured during the incident.

Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with the homeowner, who had fled from the scene. The residence and surrounding area was searched by deputies. Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded and conducted interviews and collected evidence. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
