![DOTTIE WALKER | CONTRIBUTED AIDE FOR OUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS: Rather than exchange gifts with each other, fourth-grade students at Bath Elementary chose to use their resources to help their four-legged friends in need this year. Students from the homerooms of Dawn Mason, Kim Bissette and Carla Dickerson worked together to collect a large number of items. Students brought in donations of cat and kitten food, cat toys, and other feline supplies to donate to the Washington Cat Rescue. Pictured, fourth-grade students gather around the donated items with Washington Cat Rescue co-founder Leslie Steele and Buddy, an 8-month-old Silver Tabby cat. Buddy is fully vetted and available for adoption.
