Mrs. Helen Olivia Edwards Whitley, age 93, a former resident of Lizzard Slip Road, Washington, died Monday, January 26, 2015 at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Washington.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the sanctuary of First Church of Christ, Washington.   Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Family Life Center of First Church of Christ and other times at the home of her daughter, Patricia Beacham, 114 Lawson Road, Washington.
