Jacqueline Hayes Harris

Mrs. Jacqueline Hayes Harris, of 606 W. 13^th St., died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at home. Mrs. Harris was born in Winston-Salem to the late John H. and Juanita Harris Hayes. She was a graduate of Winston-Salem State University and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Jacqueline was married to J. Robert Harris and to this union, two daughters: Pamela Harris and Darlene Harris Moore and three sons: Michael Harris, Carlos Harris and Keith Harris.

Mrs. Harris was a retired elementary education teacher in the Washington City Schools and a member of Metropolitan AME Zion Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Metropolitan AME Zion Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the Leon Randolph Funeral Memorial Chapel from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Ivy Beyond the Wall service will begin at 5 p.m.
