Mrs. Claudette “Sue” Ware Crosby, age 80, of Washington, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 28, 2015.

Mrs. Crosby was born in Elkin, W.V., on March 4, 1934, to the late William C. Ware and Maple Elizabeth White Ware. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence “Bing” Crosby Jr.; her two children, Scott of Huntington, N.Y., and Donna, of Washington; her three grandchildren, Noelle and Lauren Gargaro of Washington, and Amelia Crosby of Huntington, N.Y.; her three sisters, Jane, of West Virginia, Martha, of North Carolina, and Carolyn, of Florida. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Claudia Lou, at birth.

She served as the executive secretary at Atlantic Research Company in Arlington, Va., and at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, Long Island, N.Y., as well as secretary at Hicksville United Methodist Church, Hicksville, Long Island, N.Y.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pomonok Chapter No. 855 of West Virginia. Her hobbies included making beaded flowers, ceramics and reading.

The family has requested that there will be no services.
