Shadle named head golf professional at Cypress Landing

CHOCOWINITY — PGA Professional Jeremy Shadle has been named as the new head golf professional at Cypress Landing Golf Club in Chocowinity. He began his new position on Feb. 23.
Shadle has 20 years experience as a PGA Class “A” Professional, having been elected to membership in 1994. He completed the PGA Advanced Professional Training program in 1999. He most recently served as head golf professional at Washington Yacht and Country Club and prior to that as head golf professional at Bradford Creek Golf Club in Greenville. Shadle began his career as assistant golf professional at The Emerald Golf Club in New Bern in 1989.
Shadle brings a vast amount of experience to Cypress Landing, including tournament management, development of youth golf programs, pro shop management and experience working with both men’s and women’s golf associations. Jeremy is highly regarded as a great instructor of the game and has a passion for introducing golf to local youth.

Jeremy is a native of Ayden and lives in Washington with his wife, Pam and daughter Anna. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Washington.
