Mr. Matthew Martin Heerschap Jr., 78, a resident of 109 Austin Point Drive, Washington, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Wayside Presbyterian Church in Chocowinity. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. the day of the funeral at the church. Arrangements are by Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
