Marjorie Phelps Davenport, 83, of Roper, N.C., died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Roanoke Landing in Plymouth.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 21 2015 at 2:30 pm at Scuppernong Church of Christ with Cleve Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Scuppernong Church of Christ and other times at the residence of her son, Gordon.
