Why is it that people can drive mopeds and not have insurance? I don’t understand. We have to pay insurance, license and tags, etc.
Regarding the letter to the editor on June 17: Yes, education is important but so are many other things. Look at the whole picture, not just your field. What a biased opinion! Thank you.
Thank God for a little bit of sanity in this world. Ed Hodges, you are my hero.
Regarding Friday’s letter to the editor: I have also changed my party affiliation from Republican to Democrat. The Republican attitude of both our county commissioners and state Legislature has moved me in this direction.
Thank you, Mr. Hodges, for your letter to the editor. I will be doing the same.
I want to thank the City Council for finally making a decision on the electrical rates. It has discriminated against county residents who are forced to contribute to the general fund by the way of the electrical fund. Prior to this unfair decision, I was obligated to always try and buy in Washington. I don’t have this obligation anymore. I am sure I will save more than $10 a month by shopping outside of Washington. I truly believe that this decision will be far more costly to a struggling Washington than anyone expects. Good luck! You will need it.
Is it legal to remove the cattails on U.S. Highway 17?
County residents are being discriminated against.
