NORTHSIDE VOLLEYBALL SECURES SEASON SWEEP OF WASHINGTON
PINETOWN — The Northside volleyball team won its second-straight game against Washington on Tuesday, 3-2.
The Panthers won games one (25-21), four (25-17) and five (15-4), while the Pam Pack won games two (25-13) and three (25-19). It was Northside’s serving and late-game aggression that gave the Panthers a slight edge in the end.
With the win, Northside improves to 2-1 and will face East Carteret in Bayboro on Sept. 3, while Washington drops to 1-3 heading into today’s home match against Riverside.
