On the morning of Sept. 7, the Belhaven Police Department and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office conducted an operation, which resulted in the arrests of these individuals.

I would like to thank Sheriff E. Coleman, his staff and deputies for assisting my officers in this task. This operation would have been difficult for any small agency. Not only did the Sheriff’s Office agree to participate without hesitation on a holiday, they brought to bear the full resources (i.e. man and material) necessary to do the job right.
